We have posted several Miami Ink things, now it’s time for a new artist.
We hope it’s Tasi but time will tell. Here is the departure of Kat, Miami Ink Tattoo Artists Clash TLC Reality Cast at Crossroad on YouTube. She didn’t leave on the best terms but that happens from time-to-time.
BTW - It looks like Kat might get her own show out of the deal, called LA Ink. Check out her own site www.katvond.net

I love Miami Ink, I’m addicted to it ! But I think it was a huge mistake letting Kat go…..good luck to her !
I really admired Kat for her artistic qualities.So sad she had to leave the shop under such surcomstancis.There was never a good relation between Ami and Kat.Age,background,artistic differences. Who knows.Ami (considdering his sudden rise to stardom)needs to learn how to cope with employees and all their exposure to worldwide popularity (TV series) Thats a heavy load to deal with. Kat is still very young and her abscence from mom and hubby could have played a part in her feelings.With so many people in a tiny TTshop, chemistry is what it is all about.Both need to learn from this experience. As an avid fan of Miami Ink I feel the departure of Kat will be like Tom without Jerry as she is by far the best portrait tattooist there is as they match the originals exactly.
She brings a completely different style and vision to the studio so I believe after a while they will regret Kat leaving.

Kat is a big loss. She’s one of the best artist i’ve seen so far. She’s as good as Chris (maybe much better) and way far better that Ami (technically). Dont be hard with each other guys.
