I caught the first installation of the new Microsoft campaign tonight during Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay. It was cool to see Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld on the screen. I didn’t know that Bill was going to be in the commercial. I also didn’t know that Bill is 2 years younger than Jerry.

I was pleasantly surprised by the commercial. It was funnier than I expected and the undies shuffle was a nice touch at the end. Some really nice touches in there like the old arrest/booking photo of Bill on the id card.

Not sure what it will evolve into but I like the openness of where this could go. I do like that it has a prominent place on Microsoft site.

   I have not actually seen the whole thing till here. I was at dinner and leaving when I saw it for the first time (walking out and walked into the door trying to catch the whole thing, yea, people laughed at me). I liked it, and not just cause I find Bill unbeliveabley attractive. I liked it was about nothing, but also the “delicious” comment at the end, that could have been about social book mark comment, or just about the tasty computers of the future.

   I’ll have to disagree with you on this one. The humor seemed very forced to me and the commercial itself gave me nothing I hadn’t expected (actually less) when I heard the pair was going to be working together on this campaign.
