Over the years, AT&T has done some very good commercials and this one is up there.

I think it’s a clever phanatic Phelps phan perspective of the phone network not working.

The room is plastered with images, memorabilia but didn’t get the call that Michael Phelps was just down the street signing autographs, taking pictures and eating Chinese food. So, a good Olympic tie in and a successful commercial.

This another good Olympic commercial.

Tylenol has delivered a great concept, music score is dead on and visuals are beautiful.

They have also taken the Feel Better online, even part of the Tylenol logo treatment.

Paraguay’s Leryn Franco has been a web crush since the opening ceremonies. It has been all over the home page of Yahoo today.

I can understand why, she is a beauty but so many others in the games are also. Not many of the Olympic Javelin contestants have personal calendars, maybe that has something to do with it.

I just saw this over on Yahoo and was stunned. Good fun is so easy used to cover bad taste and that playful thing called racism. That’s just not funny in anyway.

Spain’s Olympic basketball team posed for an advertisement prior to the Games which appears to show all its players slanting their eyes, a move that could offend its Olympic hosts in Beijing. The ads, for a Spanish courier company, appeared in the Spanish-language newspaper La Marca.

As the uproar over the picture has grown today, more information about the advertising shot has come to light. The New York Times reports that Spain’s basketball team is sponsored by Li-Ning Footwear, a Chinese company founded by Li Ning, the final torchbearer who was hoisted along the top of Beijing National Stadium during the Olympic Opening Ceremony finale. The ad reportedly references the Spanish team recently extending their contract with the footwear giant for another four years.

According to China Car Times, Mini had the body shipped from Germany to Hong Kong, where it was made into rickshaws to publicize the company’s decision to sell the Clubman in China. The work is said to be top-notch, with a moon roof, leather seats and gold dragons. No word on what the rickMini weighs, but the guy pedaling the one in the pic might’ve given Samuel Sanchez a run for the gold.

Mini isn’t the only automaker hoping to make a buck on the Games. At least nine cars sold in China have special “Olympics packages” offering various levels of extras, from hotter engines to gift bags full of goodies.
