I really did think this was a joke but I guess not. What a glorious way to celebrate the number 7.
Windows 7, 7 patties and it sells for ¥777 (for the first 30 people). Can’t wait for Windows 8.

I have played around with a Kindle2 and I thought it was a pretty cool device but not really worth the $279. Now the nook is out and it will certainly going to give the Kindle2 a run for its money. With all the additional features, and priced at $259.
nook arrives Nov. 30, but you can preorder it online now, or beginning Wednesday in any Barnes & Noble store. And come Nov. 30, you’ll be able to test-drive nook in any Barnes & Noble store as well.

It’s kind of expensive (based on the cheap laptops coming out now) but very, very thin. I hope it does better than the MacBook Air (not that I have personally seen one).
It opens with the heat of your finger moving over the front and when it’s open it looks like something that could be used as a weapon.
Dell has leaked new images of its under-wraps Adamo XPS thin-and-light laptop, a thinner, lighter and presumably faster (hence “XPS”) version of its premium Adamo laptop.
Judging by those lines and that 9.99mm edge, you could really hurt someone with this thing.
If the system actually materializes on store
shelves, it will either be a incredible feat of heat management…or an equally incredible exercise in compromises.

This is one hell of a machine. Check it out and then have a look at 2 other rides they make.
Beautifully aggressive design.
Very strange cloud formation that is reminiscent of the digital artistry in the movie Independence Day.
When the cloud initially formed, some UFO enthusiasts declared it to be a "true mystery." Some even compared it to the giant spaceship hovering over Earth in the movie "Independence Day." Reality quickly dashed any predictions of an alien invasion. An article from the Daily Mail explains that the "luminous ring-shaped cloud" was simply an optical effect.
An official spokesperson for Moscow’s weather department said, "Several fronts have been passing through Moscow recently, there was an intrusion of the Arctic air too, the sun was shining from the west — this is how the effect was produced."

No matter what you write or post, it can and often will be public. Just because it’s an email or a private post, doesn’t mean it is private. This story is proof of that, some screen captures and posting has made this a deep story full of backend jokes.
Here is an example of not understanding the tools you are using in the most embarrassing way.
I have always said, never write or post anything (pics/vids) that you are not willing to show your children, because they will see it some day. Never say “love cave”,that’s just nasty.
Thanks for the link Steven.

BMW, the company that brought you Gina, that wild shape-shifting concept car made of cloth (we posted it here on DHADM a while ago BMW GINA Light Visionary Model - A True Flex Car ), went even further off the deep end with a pair of wacky concepts making their debut at the company museum in Munich.
The cars, dubbed “Simple” and “Clever” — acronyms that we’ll explain in a moment — are über-small, über-light three-wheelers that are supposed to show just how far down the efficiency road BMW can go. The Bavarians say Simple is “light in weight, low on energy” and Clever gives you “cooperative driving pleasure.”
Clever weighs less than 400 kilos (about 881 pounds) and is just three feet wide. BMW says it offers no more than one square meter of frontal area, making it very aerodynamic. BMW claims Clever can do zero to 60 km/h (37.2 mph) in around 7 seconds and tops out at approximately 100 km/h (62 mph).
In case you’re wondering, Clever is safer than it might look. It has special seat belts and a specially developed driver airbag that allowed Clever to comply with the Euro NCAP crash test requirements for small cars at the time. The passengers, who sit tandem, are ensconced in a survival cell.

I saw this article today on Yahoo Finance that I think is pretty interesting and worthy of posting:
Want to become a tech titan or hedge fund tycoon? Up your chances by dropping out of college or going to Harvard and working at Goldman Sachs.
Here are some of the key learning’s:
Parents Had Math-Related Careers
The ability to crunch numbers is typically a key to becoming a billionaire. Often, mathematical prowess is hereditary. Some of the most common professions among the parents of American billionaires for whom we could find that information were engineer, accountant and small-business owner.
September Birthdays
Of the 380 self-made American tycoons who have appeared on the Forbes list of the World’s Billionaires in the past three years, 42 were born in September–more than in any other month.
Tech Titans Who Dropped Out of College
Forget everything your guidance counselor told you: You don’t have to go to college to be successful. Close to 15% of the self-made American moguls on the Forbes 400 never finished college. Many of the list’s drop-outs made their fortunes in tech, including Bill Gates (Microsoft), Steve Jobs (Apple), Michael Dell (Dell), Larry Ellison (Oracle) and Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook).
Skull and Bones
Several current and former billionaires rounded out their Yale careers as members of Skull and Bones, the secret society portrayed with enigmatic relish by Hollywood in movies like The Skulls and W. Among those who were inducted: investor Edward Lampert, Blackstone co-founder Stephen Schwarzman and FedEx founder Frederick Smith.
Goldman Sachs
A stint at investment bank Goldman Sachs is a prime credential for achieving greatness on Wall Street. Of the 61 tycoons on our list who derive their fortunes from finance, at least six cut their teeth in Goldman’s investment banking, trading, or asset management divisions. The company’s crown jewel: its "risk arbitrage" unit, which launched the careers of billionaires Edward Lampert and Daniel Och, as well as former billionaires Tom Steyer and Richard Perry.
This is a great service for sharing or sending files that are bigger than you can attach in an email.
This is not the only service they offer but the only one I have used so far and it is stable and fast.
Another cool feature is that it is an application plug in for Yahoo Mail. Would love to have it in Outlook.
